Boeing Rotocraft Systems, located in suburban Philadelphia, is part of Boeing’s Defense, Space & Security unit. This unit manufactures the Boeing CH-47 Chinook, an American twin-engine, tandem rotor heavy-lift helicopter.
Boeing Rotocraft Systems uses the Williams Sound Digi-Wave™ Tour Guide System VIP for an array of onsite public and executive-only tours, and employee hazard training in its manufacturing facility. The Digi-Wave VIP is a two-presenter, two-way, digital communication system that offers Boeing an ideal solution for the unique challenges presented by its manufacturing environment: loud, moving, automated equipment; frequently large tour groups; and technical information that often inspires interaction between guide and group. The Digi-Wave VIP relieves voice strain via its pure, clear, wireless audio; offers two-way capability for real-time group Q&A; and is completely portable, fitting in a customized carry case.
