Williams Sound partners with InfoComm to present Minneapolis Roundtable Event

Williams Sound President and CEO Paul Ingebrigtsen welcomes Minneapolis Roundtable participants.

Minneapolis, Minn. -- Williams Sound, global designer and manufacturer of wireless communication technology, was pleased to host the Minneapolis InfoComm Roundtable and Manufacturers' Training on September 27 at its corporate offices in Eden Prairie, Minn.

Williams Sound is an ongoing sponsor of and participant in InfoComm’s 2012 Roundtable events -- a series of regional forums across the U.S., where AV professionals meet to discuss the latest issues that concern the AV industry at large.  The Roundtables have provided both continuing education as well as excellent networking opportunities. Roundtable agendas also include an open forum discussion on the major issues impacting the AV industry.

The Minneapolis Roundtable featured presentations by such key industry suppliers as Chief, Sonic Foundry, Kramer, Digital Projection and, of course, Williams Sound.  InfoComm veterans also on-hand to deliver training and insight included Duffy Wilbert, Sr. Vice President of Membership Services for InfoComm, who shared the latest economic predictions for the year ahead and how those in the AV industry are responding.  John Fuchs, Senior Vice President of AV-iQ, followed with a presentation on the latest in AV-iQ functionality.

Wilbert commented, “We are extremely grateful to Williams Sound for hosting our September Roundtable in Minneapolis and for their year-round support of InfoComm International. Our Roundtables and Outreach events are made possible through the generous support of companies like Williams Sound that see the value of good old-fashioned face-to-face meetings that are informative and memorable.”
